Paws of Pride Paws of Pride is a reward system for students showing positive "mind, body, and spirit" actions. As students earn a paw they place it in the Paw bucket in our classroom. At the end of the month we empty our paw bucket into the school-wide paw box. Mrs. McDuffie, our Headmaster, pulls three names out of the box (one from each K-2, 3-5, and 6-8). The students selected receive a lion wearing a St. Luke School t-shirt! Paws of Pride tokens are given to students for various reasons which include, but are not limited to the following: hard working shows she/he knows (and follows) the school rule and/or classroom rules completes all homework follows directions helps classmates respectful to everyone (adults and children) willing to learn and try new things lets good manners show gets along with others willing to share ideas volunteers to answer questions during whole group and small group time.
