2. Mrs. McGowan's site is a wonderful resource.  She has taught both 2nd and 1st and has information for both on her site.  The address below is for her Back to School theme. You can link to the rest of her site from this location!

4. Starfall - this is an outstanding site for emergent readers!

5. CanTeach - this site comes to us from Canada! It has a poem or song for just about everything! Check it out!

6. Handwriting for Kids - great handwriting worksheet builder in print or cursive!  Some premade sheets and some for you to build!  I love it for making handwriting practice sheets to go along with my classroom themes.

7. A Kids's Heart - this site has great Bible activities for kids!

8. Ben's Guide to US Government for Kids - select grade level then enjoy the wealth of information!  I use this site while teaching!  It's great!

9. Storyline Online - The screen actors’ guild foundation presents an online streaming video program where its members read books aloud. Each book includes activities and lesson plans!

10.  Storybird - This collaborative storytelling website allows students to read and
write stories with family or friends at  school, home, or across the world.

11. Teacher Tube - Teacher tube is an online community for teachers to share educational videos made by teachers. Use the videos to teach, reinforce, or review. Join the site for free and you can upload your own videos and watch other teachers videos.

1. ISTE & ICOT - ISTE & ICOT - the International Society for Technology in Education's (ISTE) Classroom Observation Tool is an excellent way to measure to what degree you are integrating technology into your classroom.

2. Animoto.com - Animoto produces high quality videos using your photos and video clips in just minutes. It is fast, free, and amazingly easy!

3. Audacity - This is a free cross platform sound editor. Great for helping you create a podcast!

4. Cute PDF - on this site you can create professional quality PDF files FREE for personal, commercial, government and educational purposes.

Technology Integration Matrix - The technology integration matrix on this website allows users can assess their current level of technology integration and set a goal to implement technology at a higher level. The website has a video resource to show how technology can be integrated at each level.
