  Here are some of the Space facts that we are learning Room 103:

 The sun is not a planet.

 The sun is a star.

The sun is a ball of fire.

The sun does not move. The Earth moves.

The Earth rotates. One full turn makes 24 hours - a whole entire day and night.

The side of the Earth facing the sun is having day.

The Earth revolves around the sun. One full rotation take one full year.

Plants, animals, and people need heat and light from the sun.

The sun in larger than the Earth.

The moon has phases.

The moon orbits the Earth.

The moon is not a planet.

There are NO living things on the moon.

There are 8 planets.

Pluto is not a planet, it is an icy dwarf.

Work done in space helps people on Earth.
